One killed on the N3 near Mooi River

The crash involved a truck and bakkie

The bakkie overturned off the road after colliding with a truck.

Emergency services are on scene on the N3 northbound near Mooi River where a fatal crash has been reported.

Preliminary on-scene reports indicate that a bakkie and truck crashed at about 15:00 (November 18), causing the bakkie to swerve off the road, overturning in an open field.

The truck that was involved in the collision.

One person is said to have died on scene.

There is an obstruction to the left lane while recovery operations take place.
