Ezakheni Plaza has re-opened

There was entertainment at the opening and gifts were offered to the happy consumers

The Ezakheni Plaza re-opened today (November 18) after being closed for more than a year following the ‘July Unrest’ of 2021.

People living in Ezakheni came out in numbers to shop again at their local mall.

Long queues at the store entrances and fully-packed trolleys was evidence that local residents have been eagerly waiting for the complex to open up again.

This shopping centre, like many others around the country, was razed to the ground during last year’s violent looting that took place after the arrest of former president Jacob Zuma.
