You can help the South African National Blood Service (SANBS) overcome the current blood shortage by donating a life-saving pint.
Any excuse is good enough to donate blood and Saturday (November 5) happens to be Guy Fawkes. You could commemorate the occasion by rolling up your sleeve for a good cause.
Blood donors play an important role in saving lives, as every pint can potentially give three people out there a second chance at life.
So make sure you clear your diary every once in a while, such as Guy Fawkes, and make your way to the Ladysmith Blood Donor Clinic at San Marco / Pick n Pay Centre to make your valuable donation.
