uThukela wishes matrics well in their exams

The response from the school heads was one of enthusiasm, courage and a positive state of readiness

uThukela District Municipality recently held prayer sessions that spanned three days for all matric pupils residing within the district.

Speaker TY Nqubuka, accompanied by Cllr F Zuma, held a series of examination prayers at three different schools under each local municipality.

The first session was at Njeza High School under Inkosi Langalibalele Municipality. They then proceeded to Bhevu Secondary School under Alfred Duma Local Municipality and ended off at uKhali High School under Okhahlamba Local Municipality on Friday (October 28).

uThukela organised these events to usher in a peaceful examination period and also to encourage all the learners to do well.

Speaker Nqubuka packaged items to hand over to the learners, such as sanitary towels, pens and rulers. These items are aimed at ensuring that learners can attend school and write their exams without any obstacles.

The Office of the Speaker wishes the ‘Class of 2022’ a positive examination period filled with energy.
