For the second consecutive year, the Gift of the Givers Estcourt branch has brought smiles to the faces of community members.
On October 20, 110 families received large grocery hampers as part of the humanitarian organisation’s Diwali distribution.
The families gathered at the Masjid Ghouse Azam in Protea Road, where the supplies were offloaded, sorted and then distributed.
Community liaison Jaaved Khan said that the happy recipients were extremely grateful for the hampers.
