Tommy de Langer hands over a cheque to J. Marais Tommy de Langer and Helena Zaal (sponsors) with Nicky Dannhauser, France Koch and Fanie Muller. The committee, members and non-members of Dundee Country Club would like to
thank Afgri Care, Virbac, and Andrew Adams and his team for a well-organised golf competition with lots of fun on the day.
A total of 120 players took part, with some non-golfers participating for the first time. There were lots of twists, with some different tactics regarding the formats on some of the holes.
A cricket bat was even used on no. 16 to tee off, resulting in lots of golfers having to pay fines for losing their balls in the water. The winners of the day were Mike Gardiner and his team, with France Koch and his team taking the ‘stone last’ floating trophy.
Afgri CEO Tommy de Langer thanked all the golfers and sponsors for a wonderful day and said he hopes it will become an annual event. He gave special thanks to the committee for allowing them to host a golf day that was a great success.
