The ‘June Babies’ of Cathkin Park, in lieu of giving each other birthday presents, used the money to buy educational items for Zenzeleni Crèche in Emoyeni, Loskop.
In addition, bottle tops, toilet rolls, magazines and much more collected by the Knitwits group were also handed over.
This is a tradition for those who celebrate the birthdays in June.
