Sewer leak in busy CBD street

Pipes are exposed and the seeping water is damaging the pavement

People are frustrated and disgusted by the sewer leak in Queen Street.

The sewer / water leak is in a road that is incredibly busy on a daily basis, as it is in the heart of the CBD. People are saying that it’s a health hazard, as there is lots of foot traffic in the area and pedestrians have to take care not to tread in the stinky water.

The underground pipes are exposed and water leaks out non-stop, damaging the tarmac and the pavement as well.

“This is a big problem because it is close to many businesses, and people have to walk in the road to avoid the water and sewage. The problem has been reported countless times, but nothing is ever done about it. And this is not the only street with this problem,” fumed one resident who frequents the CBD and is fed up with the situation.
