To continue empowering locals who have home-based businesses, a second flea market was held on Sunday (July 31).
Hosted by Estcourt Women Unlimited, this market aims to boost women in business and introduce their products and services to a larger market.
The indoor market was held at the Forderville Hall from 11:00 and was well-supported by locals.
A variety of stalls were available to browse through.
Ward 10 Women’s Committee chairperson Firoza Khan said the stallholders indicated that they would like to host the market twice a month.
“All the stall-holders are happy with the sales they make and they are grateful for the exposure. However, people need to be made aware of these markets, as the support from the community is not as much as we would like,” she added.
