Around 07:00 this morning (August 1), two vehicles collided and caused a traffic backlog going past a local school.
It is understood that a Chevrolet bakkie and a Mazda SUV were travelling alongside each other on Drakensberg Drive, towards the Allen Street crossing, when the collision occurred.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver of one vehicle did not appear to see the other vehicle while changing lanes. However, the exact cause of the collision remains subject to investigation.
Emergency services officials were on scene and reported no injuries.
