Mbulwane area without water

The councillor was told that the pipe could only be fixed on Monday

A burst pipe has left some residents of Mbulwane without water since Friday (July 29).

The leak is on the road leading to Ndomba cemetery.

Those living near the burst pipe are fetching water from the ‘stream’ caused by the leak.

Ward 9 Councillor Nathi Sithole says he reported the matter on Friday, but was told that uThukela employees no longer work overtime and he could only be assisted on Monday.
