Certain areas to be without water due to maintenance

uThukela District Municipality would like to inform the public that the contractor tasked with doing maintenance on the water pipe at the Spioenkop Pump Station was unable to start yesterday (June 11) as planned.

The maintenance will commence today (June 12) and continue until Friday (June 14).

Water-shedding will be implemented in 10-hour time slots from 19:00 to 05:00, daily.

The following areas are likely to be affected: Danskraal industrial area, Limit Hill, Modelkloof, Mkhamba Gardens, Observation Hill, Egerton, Steadville, St Chad’s, the CBD, Van Riebeeck Park and Roosboom.

Residents in the above-mentioned areas are advised to store water in containers.
