Police responded quickly after an elderly woman was robbed in her home
An elderly woman was robbed in Rawlinson Street this morning (September 27).
The homeowner was caught off-guard as the thieves came in through the back door. With swift and calculated movements, the intruders snatched the television and made off with a stash of alcohol, leaving the shaken homeowner to wonder what had just happened.
Fortunately, despite the frightening ordeal, she escaped unharmed.
Police swiftly responded to the scene, arriving promptly to take control and secure the area.

ER24 paramedics also rushed to the location to provide medical support and ensure the well-being of the traumatised homeowner.
