Body found at hitchhiking spot
The cause of death has not been confirmed at this stage, although it appears that the woman was stabbed
The authorities were notified after a body was found yesterday evening (September 7) in Harding Street near Engen garage.
An official at the scene told the Estcourt News that a deceased female was found lying on the road where people often hitchhike. It is alleged that the woman was hitchhiking to Thembalihle.
It appears that she was stabbed to death.

According to those at the scene who claimed to know the deceased, the woman is allegedly from Thembalihle outside Estcourt.
The deceased has not yet been officially identified.
Traffic police and SAPS responded to the scene.
