Woman convicted of killing partner

Sibongile Thuleleni Nene (61) was sentenced to eight years’ imprisonment in the Ezakheni Regional Court on Tuesday (January 30). Nene stood accused of murder.
In April last year, she stabbed her partner, Bhekuxolo Mzinyane (54), to death in a fit of rage. She allegedly accused him of having an affair.

She was immediately arrested and charged.
Bail was granted and after several appearances in court, she was found guilty.
