Young child dies after vehicles collide on Madadeni Road

A young child unfortunately succumbed to his injuries before paramedics arrived at the scene.

10 people were injured, and one child died after a head-on collision occurred on the P438 (Madadeni Road) on Saturday evening (December 2).

 According to Chantelle Botha of KwaZulu Private Ambulance Services, when emergency services arrived, they found that two vehicles had been involved in a collision.

 “Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that five patients had sustained critical injuries and five patients had sustained serious injuries.”

 The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.

Sadly, a young child sustained fatal injuries and succumbed to their injuries before emergency services arrived.
