Police are appealing to the community to help identify a man’s body that was found on a farm in Winterton on Friday, October 6.
The badly decomposed body was discovered by the farm manager.
The deceased is beyond recognition and there is nothing that can be used to identify the man at this stage.
Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan commented that the body was close to a pump house in which running shoes were found. Police believe that the shoes belonged to the deceased.
To date, no one has come forward to report a missing person in the surrounding areas.
