A policeman and his family were recently robbed at their home in the Acaciavale area.
It is alleged that four men forced their way into the house, where they held the policeman’s family at gunpoint.
The suspects ransacked the house, including the safe. Police spokesperson Warrant Officer Basheer Khan commented that firearms, jewellery, cellphones and a vehicle were among the items taken during the robbery.
Khan confirmed that the vehicle was recovered by police the very same day.
However, the hunt for the suspects continues.
