Charlestown Detectives investigating a case of copper theft

Charlestown Detectives are investigating a case of tampering with infrastructure that took place on May 16 between 00:30 and 13:30 at Mount Prospect KMP20/17.

According to Newcastle SAPS Corporate Communications Officer, Lizzy Arumugam, the complainant alleged that around 30 meters of copper cables had been stolen from his property.

Further police investigations will continue.
