Vezubuhle resident found murdered outside his home

Newcastle SAPS is currently investigating the murder of a Vezubuhle resident on Wednesday, March 29.

Lizzy Arumugam, Newcastle SAPS corporate communications officer, said at about 12.51 pm officers on duty received information that a murder had occurred nearby.

When they arrived, they found the deceased face up with an open wound on the left side of the chest.

According to the eyewitness, he saw two males emerge from the deceased’s house, both clutching knives, and jump into a Datsun Go which was parked in front of the home, which sped away.

Shortly after, the witness saw a man coming out of the shack and attempting to walk out of his yard, which is when he fell down on the ground in front of his neighbour’s house and died from his injuries.”

The police investigation is still on-going.
