The suspect charged with the murder of Zandile (Nokwa) Nils made another appearance in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court today (March 10).
Nils was stabbed to death and her body dumped in the Bantwana Section of Wembezi on February 26.
The suspect was arrested on March 1 after police received valuable information from police and charged with murder.

During the court appearance today, the suspect withdrew the bail application and was remanded in custody. The matter was postponed to April 6.
Ahead of the court appearance, dozens of people dressed in black to show solidarity in their call for justice, made their way to the court.
The residents were there to show support to Nils’s family.
