A 47-year-old man was arrested during an Intelligence-driven operation held in Emoyeni, Loskop, recently.
Uthukela Crime Intelligence and Amangwe Visible Policing officers pounced on the man’s premises after receiving a tip-off and found him to be in possession of a .303 rifle and one round of ammunition.
The man appeared in the Estcourt Magistrate’s Court, facing a charge of being in possession of an unlicensed firearm and ammunition.
