Following a tip-off, officers from the Uthukela Crime Intelligence Unit and Ladysmith Rapid Response Unit swooped on a reputed ‘drug den’ in the Leonardsville area.
A search of the premises resulted in the recovery of 65 capsules suspected to be heroin. The capsules were hidden behind a cabinet on the premises.
A 31-year-old woman was arrested and has appeared in front of a magistrate.
