Attempted burglary in Lucknow Road
There appears to be a spate of break-ins and robberies in town
A resident of Lucknow Road believes he was almost the victim of a house break-in this morning (September 23).
The homeowner spotted a man jumping into his yard, and believes the intention was to steal.
When the would-be burglar realised the family was at home and his plan had been foiled, he fled the scene.
Police are on the lookout for the suspect.

Since last night, numerous break-ins and robberies have been taking place in and around town. Police urge residents to take caution and be alert of their surroundings at all times.
