Duduza Care Centre to host fun run and walk as fund-raising initiative

The location is the scenic Maria Ratschitz Catholic Mission, which is about 35km away from Dundee in the Wasbank area.

Duduza Care Centre is a non-profit organisation situated at the Maria Ratschitz Catholic Mission, which is about 35km away from Dundee.
In a bid to raise funds and encourage a healthy lifestyle, the centre is hosting a fun run on November 9.
There are three categories: 5km, 10km and 20km.
A jumping castle has been arranged for the kids. There will also be live entertainment and food stalls.
The registration fee is R300 for adults and R150 for children between the ages of 10 and 18.

Registration money generated by this event will go towards the sustainability of services rendered by the hospice (in-patient unit) and for home-based care patients.

“We are kindly inviting companies and organisations to participate in the fun run/walk. Should your participants win, your participation will be recognised in the organisation’s annual report of 2024/5, as well as in the ‘I was here’ chart,” said Sister Collette of Maria Ratschitz.
