Burglars caught red-handed breaking into Dundee home
Members of the public joined forces with the SAPS and security groups to apprehend the suspects.
Two burglars were arrested in Peacevale this morning following a swift response from the SAPS, the community and security groups.
The alarm was raised on a security group when the men entered the ceiling of a home on Heron Drive.
A joint operation swung into action and both men were arrested.
Residents expressed their gratitude for the swift response.
“A huge word of thanks to Liz, Trudy van Wyk, Sgt Joey Kalicharan, Azmath Khan(360 Tactical Response), Yusuf Khan and his crew from ADT and Dundee SAPS for the super swift response,” commented Mac Osman who co-administers the NDE Pro-Active and Service Groups.
The suspects were taken to the police station for questioning.
