Dion takes grand cash prize after clinching Dundee’s first LIV golf series

While Dion finished second on Saturday to Eric Kemp's 38 points, his consistency over the past months in the series was enough to see him take home the big money!

Dion Sadaw’s 36 points on Saturday were enough to clinch the R10,000 first prize in the eighth and final round of the LIV Golf Series played at Dundee Country Club.

This is the first time Dundee has hosted their LIV Golf series, with the second round due to start on October 12.

This was made possible through the hardworking committee, the main sponsor, Neels van Dyk of PR Mining, and others who sponsored.

48 golfers took to the course on Saturday in fine, cool conditions after a shotgun start.
The best gross went to M Meyer with 74 gross, while the nearest the pin winners were: no. 4 – Jo Khumalo, no. 8 – H Meintjies, no. 12 – I Adam, and no. 16 – E Abdulla.
Tributes were paid to Jo Khumalo and his staff for keeping the golf course in such excellent condition, despite the challenges of fires and snow.

Winner Dion Sadaw is congratulated by Dolly Bradbury

Dolly and Kevin were thanked for assisting with the scoreboard and starting, while the kitchen and bar staff were thanked for their hard work as well.
Over 480 rounds of golf were played in the LIV Golf series, which has proved to be a winner for the club.
