Colder weather predicted for the Dundee area as August draws to an end

Spring has not yet sprung, warns the weatherman.

Traditionally, Spring starts on September 1 which is on Sunday… after a cold winter, many in the district are looking forward to warmer weather and lighter mornings and evenings…

However, we may have to wait a little longer this time around – the mercury is due to plunge later in the week with the arrival of two cold fronts from the Cape.

The weatherman predicts a maximum of just 9 degrees on Thursday – this after a maximum temperature of 28 today and around 30 degrees today, Monday.

The cold weather may also bring some welcome rain. Things warm up again on Friday with a temperature of 13 while on Spring day, the weatherman is banking on a maximum of 26 degrees… whatever happens, it promises to be an interesting week…
