Dundee tennis girls rocking the holiday fever, out of town

The girls used the school holidays to sharpen their tennis skills.

Two Dundee tennis girls are using the winter school holidays to ace out-of-town tournaments.
Zemichké Snyman and Mandie Conradie, who were representing Dundee High School (DHS), both swept to victory in their divisions at last week’s Wembley College Tennis Tournament in Greytown.
Zemichke was victorious in the under-18 singles championships, while Mandie took the honours in the under-14 singles division.
Not content with those victories, the day after arriving back from Greytown, the girls headed for Newcastle to compete in the Pavilion Tennis Club Championships, where Zemichké was crowned overall club champion and was also the doubles winner, together with Andile from the Newcastle Tennis Club.
Mandie took part in the junior division, where she also acquitted herself with distinction and played some really good tennis.
