Tree felled as level 2 storm hits Dundee area

Residents are huddling down to keep the first real blast of winter at bay.

As predicted by the SA Weather Services, the stormy weather that hit the Eastern Cape on the weekend has hit northern KZN.

Strong winds, thunder and rain have also hit the district with a tree falling victim to nature on Sibisi Street, Sibongile.

The tree was blown over in the wind. This follows reports of a possible tornado in the Utrecht area earlier this afternoon. The Disaster Management team has been alerted.
