Dundee Rotarians host bumper golf day for fund raising

The Rotary Club is dedicated to serving their local community.

Dundee Rotary Club hosted another successful golf day at the Country Club on Saturday, with players participating in the format of 4BBB Stableford in fine weather conditions.
The committee and members would like to congratulate Rotary Dundee for another successful golf day and the fabulous prizes presented to the winners.
Thanks also to Linda and her kitchen staff, as well as the staff members of Dundee Country Club for all their hard work.
Johan du Plessis of Rotary thanked all the sponsors for the fabulous prizes and congratulated all the winners of the day.

He also gave a rundown of the aims and ideals of Rotary, which focuses on ‘service above self’, with members dedicated to giving back to their respective communities.
Their next big project is Rotar Dent in March.
This will see local and international Rotarians – many of whom are dentists – running a clinic dedicated to helping needy children who do not have access to dental care.

The Rotary Club thanks all their generous sponsors for the outstanding prizes donated.
The winners of the day on a brilliant 50 points were Cameron Fogg and Bjorn Talanda.
Second place went to Coenie Munroe and Lionel Shawe on 49 points, and third on 48 points were S Dreyer and M Dreyer.
