Dundee SAPS appeal for relatives to identify man who died after vicious assault

The man was attacked in November last year.

Police appeal to relatives to come forward

Dundee detectives are appealing to the public (and/or relatives) to come forward to identify the body of Malibongwa Mncube who was admitted to Dundee Hospital on November 27 after being severely assaulted.
He was later transferred to Madadeni Hospital to be treated for head injuries and passed away a few days later.
Anybody with information is asked to contact the Dundee detective branch.
Burglars out and about
There were several housebreaking cases were opened over the last few days where various appliances were stolen in residential areas in the Dundee area.
Police appealed to the public to be vigilant and to keep all valuables in a safe place.
One business robbery was reported where a security guard was held up at Kunene farm project and generator and electrical appliances were stolen in the early hours of Saturday morning.
Accidents reported
There were two cases of reckless negligent cases opened over the weekend when a pedestrians suffered serious injuries after he was run over in Sibongile.
The driver left the scene in a maroon car. Anybody with information is asked to contact the Dundee Police Station.
A light motor vehicle was involved in an accident when it struck a stray horse on the Dundee/Nquthu road over the weekend. The driver was taken to hospital for treatment.
