Dundee golfers tee off to remember a much-loved couple

Rodger and Jenny Ross did much to promote golf in the area - especially among the youth.

The annual Rodger & Jenny Ross Memorial Golf Day was postponed to Saturday, December 30, because the rainy weather on Boxing Day made play impossible.
28 players participated in fine weather conditions. Kevin and his family thank all those who took part in the second year of the combined Memorial Golf Day.
“Thanks also to the staff of the restaurant and members of Dundee Country Club for the excellent conditions of the course,” said Kevin.
The winner of the day was Tessa Scholtz with 41 points.
The runner-up was N Venter with 39 points.
Rodger and Jenny Ross were legendary members of Dundee Golf Club, who did much to promote the sport, particularly among junior members.
Joff Davies, the committee and members thank you and your family – all the best for 2024.
