Talana Museum to host ghostly Night at the Museum experience

The historical characters depicted at Talana Museum are said to come alive once the sun sets...

Talana Museum’s fascination with all things ghostly continues this month with a Night at the Museum experience to be held on the night of Springbok Day, December 15.

Like the famous movie series of the same name, those attending the night (to start at 7pm) can expect the ‘characters’ to come to life at Talana.

Ann Smith is said to walk around the historic Smith Cottage, carrying a candle to light her way. Hamish Smith wanders around Talana house. There are also some unsettled ghosts of the British soldiers who perished at the battle of Talana. Not convinced? Come and see for yourself. Contact the Museum at 034 212 2654.
