A man was shot and injured in a shooting late yesterday, Monday, afternoon thought to be related to a taxi dispute in the Nquthu area.
Acting on information, police did stop and question several people following the shooting but no one was charged.
“Speculation is that the latest shooting is related to a taxi-dispute-related murder in the area last October when police recovered 37 spent cartridges from the scene,” a police spokesperson said.
Anyone with information regarding yesterday’s shooting is urged to please contact their nearest police station.
