Dundee Moths join parade to honour Remembrance Sunday

The day honours all South Africans who died in all conflicts in defence of their country.

Moths from Dundee (Endumeni Isandlwana Moth Shellhole)  and Newcastle (Monte Stance Moth Shellhole) other service organisations laid wreaths on Sunday morning to mark Remembrance Day to honour those who made the ultimate sacrifice for their country in World War One and Two and in all subsequent conflicts.

Over 21 wreaths were laid at the Lych Gate at the Newcastle cemetery by Moth members, Scouts, Voortrekkers, SAPS members and two local councillors. A contingent of Dundee Diehard soldiers – the local battle reenactment team – were also in attendance.
