Burglar nabbed in central Dundee following combined SAPS/security operation
Business owners have voiced their concern over the surge in crime in the CBD in recent months.
A combined security/SAPS reaction resulted in the arrest of a man who had broken into Exact Clothing on Victoria Street in the early hours of this morning, Tuesday.
Yusuf Khan of Fidelity ADT said officers reacted and with the assistance of the SAPS and Mbube Security apprehended the suspect.
“Well done to all the Joint efforts are always fruitful. This is the type of initiative our town and community needs.”
The central business district has been hit by a series of break-ins over the past few months with the Mpati Chemist, The Courier, Curry Parlour and We Connect all among those that have suffered at the hands of criminals.
