One arrest after early morning copper bust

The theft of copper has become a huge problem in the local area, according to the local SAPS

A man was arrested in the early hours of yesterday morning transporting around 500kg of suspected stolen copper.

The arrest was made at around 3am in Dundee by members of the Glencoe Dog Unit.

The suspect is to soon appear in Court. SAPS spokesperson, Constable Siyabonga Nkwanyana, said more details would be released following a court appearance.
