Body of missing man found near Sunset Rest road
Hennie Maritz was reported missing on Friday afternoon
The body of a man who had earlier been reported missing was found in a field not far from the R68 road near the Glencoe prison area.
On Friday, Hennie Maritz, thought to be in his early 70s, was reported missing after leaving for Dundee from Hattingspruit in a white Nissan bakkie.
When he did not return, a search was launched. His body was later found. Glencoe SAPS said his throat had been cut and that an investigation is underway. The bakkie is also missing.
Anyone with information is urged to contact their nearest police station.
