People often complain about a dearth of entertainment in Dundee. So when news reached music fans that Juan Boucher was appearing at the Dundee Golf Club on Saturday, as a guest at the bumper Flotek golf day, enthusiasts flocked to the club.
They packed it to the rafters and Juan did not let them down, singing his well-known tunes like In die Bosveld, among others.
Juan Boucher is an award-winning South-African singer and songwriter with over 13 million views and streams worldwide. His latest album Release ‘Hier waar ek nou is’ produced numerous nr. 1 radio hits and has also recently been nominated for a SAMA (South-African Music Awards) in the category: Best Pop Album.
But he was maybe surprised that there was also some local talent on show. Kallie Roets of Flotek took to the stage and with Juan on guitar, performed a rousing rendition of the standard, Sweet Caroline.
