A man had a lucky escape when his vehicle crashed near a bridge and plunged into the Steenkoolspruit this morning.
He was travelling on the access road from Sibongile to the Greytown road when his car appeared to go out of control near the one-way bridge over the Steenkoolspruit, witnesses said.
The driver appeared not to have suffered any serious injuries.
