Tornado-like storm cuts a swathe of destruction through Endumeni

Talana Museum took a battering in the storm

A 20-minute wind and rain storm wreaked havoc throughout the area this morning.

The storm struck shortly after 11am bring down trees in Dundee, Glencoe, and on the Dannhauser road.

Disaster Management and Traffic Officials swiftly responded to clear the obstructions.

There was severe damage at Talana Museum with a large tree crashing down on a building and flattening a Jo Jo water tank.

Many roads are still covered in debris from the storm and motorists are urged to travel with caution.
