Early morning collision claims one life
A multi-vehicle collision on the N11 earlier this morning (Monday, July 15) left one person dead and several others seriously injured.
UPDATE: Police sources have confirmed that a second person has died in hospital as a result of the injuries sustained during this mornings collision.

The accident occurred at around 07:30, just before the Kilbarchan turn-off, and involved three vehicles.
Paramedics were soon on the scene where they treated and transported several people to hospital for serious injuries. One person was sadly declared dead at the scene.
The exact cause of the collision is still unclear at this stage and will remain subjective to further police investigations.
