Collision leaves five people injured

Five people were injured following a collision on Drakensberg Road yesterday (July 11).

Chantelle Botha of Kwazulu Private Ambulance Service said that when emergency services arrived, they found that a vehicle had lost control and collided with a stationary truck.

“Paramedics quickly assessed the scene and found that four patients had suffered serious injuries and one patient minor injuries,” Botha said.

The patients were treated on scene before being transported to the hospital for further treatment.

The exact cause of the collision is still unknown and will remain subject to further police investigations.
