Traffic comes to a standstill following collision
Motorists are being urged to use alternative routes for now.
Traffic on the Memel Road has come to a standstill due to a crash at the Allen and Memel Roads intersection this afternoon (June 26).
The collision occurred between a bakkie and a light motor vehicle, leaving several people slightly injured.
All services are currently at the scene attending those involved as well as regulating traffic while preliminary investigations are being conducted.
Charles Steyn of Magenta Medical Services confirmed that one patient sustained moderate injuries, while a second patient sustained minore injuries.
The exact cause of the collision is still unclear at this stage.
Motorists are being urged to use alternative routes in the meantime.
