Save lives by donating blood

This is a lifesaving act as one person can save three lives of those in need of blood.

The South African National Blood Services, SANBS, is calling on all regular and potential new donors to donate blood. This is a lifesaving act as one person can save three lives of those in need of blood. SANBS is appealing to the old and the young to make generous donations this year. Requirements to become a donor – be between the ages of 16 and 75 years, weigh 50kg or more, be in good health, lead a healthy lifestyle, consider your blood safe for transfusion to a patient, and then, hopefully, commit to becoming a regular donor.
