Junior Eleven suffer first defeat in regional league

More exciting matches are lined up for today at the AG Magubane Stadium

Day 11 in the Nomgwenya Security Men’s Regional League came with unexpected results when Umkhanyakude FC from Bergville walked away with three crucial points after beating Junior Eleven.

The games were held at the Kandahar Avenue sport grounds last Sunday (January 7).

Coming into this match, Junior Eleven had not lost a match in six games. Now they have lost one match after seven games, won five and drew one. They remain in position 6 with a total of 16 points.

Umkhanyankude FC are sitting comfortably in position 4, having collected five wins and four draws to accumulate a total of 19 points.
