Biggarsberg Primary School hosts successful speech & drama concert
The principal of the school, Mrs du Plessis, complimented the lecturers on their dedication and enthusiasm in assisting the young students with their acting.
The first foundation phase speech & drama concert presented at Biggarsberg Primary School after Covid-19 had the theme ‘A Land Far, Far Away’.
The junior phase students all had the opportunity to demonstrate their acting abilities, and the school hall was crowded with pleased parents. ‘The Three Little Pigs’, ‘The Ugly Duckling’ and ‘Simba’ were just a handful of the plays performed on stage; and the students were proud to show off their dedication.
The principal of the school, Mrs du Plessis expressed her congratulations to the school choir for winning the award for the finest choir at the Sarel Cilliers Choir Festival.
“Congratulations to every boy and girl who gave a sterling performance during the competition,” said Mrs du Plessis.
She also thanked choir conductors Mrs Mngoma and Mrs Zulu for winning the floating trophy for best primary school choir.
