Ncandu Park resident ambushed for cellphone and cash
The victim was ambushed by six armed men and robbed of his belongings.
Newcastle SAPS detectives are investigating a case of armed robbery after a Ncandu Park resident was attacked on April 21.
According to the victim, he was walking when he was ambushed by six unknown men who were armed with bush knives.
The group of assailants fled the scene with his money and cellphone. The case was reported to the SAPS, and further investigations are underway.
