Newcastle Cougars Wrestling Club hosts the SA Presidents Championship
On behalf of the KZN Wrestling Federation, the Newcastle Cougars Wrestling Club hosted the SA Presidents Championship in a packed show hall in Newcastle.
The championship, which took place from March 31 to April 1, drew wrestlers from all over South Africa, including KwaZulu-Natal, Free State, North Gauteng, Sedibeng, Western Province, Ekurhuleni, Mpumalanga, Limpopo, East Gauteng, and Central Gauteng.
KZN was well represented and collected a number of gold, silver and bronze medals in the Presidents freestyle category and the Greco Roman division.
